The hour before the shoot is the cheapest staging you'll ever do. The more camera-ready the home is when we arrive, the less time we spend moving things — and the more every frame earns its place in your listing.
01 Light it right
- Switch on every light — overheads, lamps, under-cabinet, closets
- Replace burned-out bulbs; match them all to one warm color
- Open blinds and curtains; set slats to a single uniform angle
- Turn ceiling fans off so the blades stay crisp
- Power down TVs and monitors — dark screens read as voids
02 Clear the surfaces
- Kitchen counters down to one or two styled pieces
